St francis had a red shirt frosh, originally went to Hofstra that shot 42% frpm 3, Zion Bethea does anyone know anything about him since the program is ending after the spring semester Had good offers coming out of high school : UMASS, Minnesota, Penn State, St Joes. Looks from Georgetown, Rutgers and Nova. thank you, hope we can take a look at him |

Rafael Pinzón is the first player to enter the portal at SJU. A 6'5" SG rated a ★★★ recruit out of Long Island Lutheran. Had offers from Florida, Illinois, GT, Dayton, New Mexico and Xavier. Averaged 6.1 PPG as a sophomore. He did not play the final six games of the season as he served an indefinite suspension for ‘not meeting team standards’. Oddly he was being Iona's bench watching play the 2nd to last home game.

These new rules seem like they will prevent Jenkins and Brookshire from transferring, without sitting out a year. Possibly make it hard on Slazinski as well.

Definitely an added incentive to stay. I do think it's messed up that coaches can come and go anytime they please but players (like Jenkins and Brookshire) cannot be eligible to transfer if their coach leaves them. |

Jenkins has spring semester and even summer to graduate and he can be gone. Would like to see him make statement that hes staying or this can linger all offseason.
EDIT: this is assuming he's close to graduating. He may not be.
