Feinstein has become something of a Fordham promoter. Mr. do it by the book who is out there complaining that the NCAA didn't ignore the NET and allow Fordham into the NIT. I'm sure he's happy to take a shot at Pitino and Iona.

70, it’s obvious you have had enough of Pitino, who would you hire?

This was a typo by the NYT CJB. My passion in RELEVANT basketball started in New York and will end there at Iona College” [/i] - Rick Pitino, March 2020

He is a very good coach. If he leaves I will hate him though.

Guys, give it a week and we should know what is going to happen. Props to you 86 for pointing out Tobin Anderson before all this madness. That was great info! I knew he was well thought of by the Siena folks. When he landed the STAC job I went and watched probably close to 3 dozen games or so, and came away very impressed. He was sort of a combo of Cluess and Pitino, TC's offensive ball movement and getting the shots off quickly and Pitino's defensive schemes. At STAC he went 209–62 including five East Coast Conference regular season titles and six ECC tournament titles, reaching the NCAA Division II tournament in seven-straight seasons, including the Elite Eight in 2017. He did a great job recruiting and putting together the pieces to make it all work. My favorite bit of coaching he did during his STAC days was the ass whooping of St. John's 90–58 in an exhibition contest in 2015. That was Mullins first season and SJU had the following prized recruits: Malik Ellison (★★★) Christian Jones (★★★) Marcus LoVett (★★★★ Top 50) Durand Johnson (★★★★ Top 100) Felix Balamou (★★★) Tariq Owens (★★★) Kassoum Yakwe (★★★★) Yankuba Sima - (★★★) Darien Williams - (★★★) Anderson had one stud guard, 6'4" Justin Reyes who finished his career with 2247 points, 1144 rebounds and only one player bigger than 6'8" and that kid played maybe 15 min a game. Yet Tobin ran them off the court.

Nah I agree with Joe. If Pitino goes to St. John’s (which he is) I hate his guts. Mostly because of everything he said when he was first hired and because St. John’s fans on twitter are some of the most annoying, obnoxious people I’ve ever encountered.
