I doubt Pitino said that to his players,I have a hard time believing anything after listening to lies and contradictions for 3 years,final straw was he walked into deplorable facilities,the gym was done before he got there!! Slap in the face to the many who worked hard and long to get this done,and another outright lie!! Correct, I believe the locker room and weight room upgrades were already in progress before he got here as part of a two phased improvement project under Cluess. I think the only facility upgrades that happened because of Pitino were the athletic dept offices, which not so coincidentally included his own office. Dont forget the Party room his family received for games lol |

Maybe I missed something, but I have not seen any Iona players on social media wishing Rick the best. Could be construed as good or bad, I guess. Jenkins He shared a friend's insta--nothing from him directly. |

After the uconn game, pitino made the comment that he may need to rethink how he would recruit his front court. In rick speak this might have meant that nelly and shema were not big enough for the big east. I would expect slazinski and clayton to go to st johns, but i dont think nelly and shema will. Likely they will transfer to a-10 size school.

Does anyone know if there is a deadline for players to declare for the transfer portal? I am looking for a time in which I can stop holding my breath wondering which players may leave.

No surprise there; I assumed that Walter was Pitino’s primary target and that he would want Cruz also.
I hope the rest of the team realizes the opportunities that staying together will present to them.
