Welcome Tobin! Haven’t seen anyone mention this but Anderson also runs similar schemes to Pitino. He likes to press a lot so if a lot of the players stay, hopefully they wouldn’t have to be learning a whole new system

I hope this is a guy we really wanted, rather than one that we could hire quickly and keep our current players. I think SPU ended up with a good coach (Mason), but by the time he was hired many of the players had left. Anderson, like Cluess, does have a history of success.
