59, you may have a few years on me, but I’m thinking it’s “To Tell The Truth”. I get that show, “What’s My Line” and “”I’ve Got a Secret” mixed up. I remember my mom and grandma watching them when I was a kid. Go Gaels!!! I believe, but not certain, that in What's My Line, three people will say that they are a person who has done a noteworthy thing. That person will then be questioned by the shows panel, made up of TV and Movie/Play actors. The person being questioned would always claim that, "I am so and so" and then answer a list of questions. When finished the panel would give their opinion, and the emcee would ask that the real Mr., Mrs., Miss please stand up. And it's very possible that I confused What's My Line with To Tell The Truth. P.S. Just Googled the TV shows, and the correct answer was To Tell The Truth. |

Back in the sixties and seventies if we had a question, we'd call the NYC Public Library. Not as good as Google, but still pretty good.

I'm sure the staff could sign 5-7 players in a heartbeat if they wanted to.
No point burning all scholarships and settling when better options may still or become available.
I'll trust their process and think it's a good sign of them being selective.

I'll trust their process and think it's a good sign of them being selective. Pretty much agree. At least 5 recruits on Guy's list have already visited Iona. With the staff back on campus more recruits will be visiting this week. One recruiting target on Guy's list taking an official visit Tuesday-Wednesday. Would be a very good "get". Really need to land a couple by the end of the week. Lots of transfers and JUCO players have been committing, 7 spots are a lot to fill |
