hello to all. Just a few comments-yes Hugh success yesterday at the Gaels Nation Golf outing. Many interesting attendees there and great seeing old friends who have one thing in common Iona University!
Well organized and great to see players from years past-a link to Iona basketball legacy-Jeff Ruland-Kevin Vesey-Kevin Hamilton-Steve Burtt{senior of course} Dan Doyle and Gary Springer.
Now it is time to add to this legacy!! If wins are based on people skills of our players-we will win a lot of games! The players we met were well mannered and contributed very positive dialogue. One common factor-they are all happy with their new environment- Iona University and Iona basketball. Yes winning basketball games is important however most of the conversations with players showed us they are happy to be here. WE BUILD CHARACTER NOT CHARACTERS!

Hardest worker on the team per Reaves is his roommate Bundy. He’s Likely a bit bias but from what I saw and what I hear I think we got a steal in this kid. He seems Uber athletic and tough. So hard to forecast who is going to play on this team. |

Good vibe from emuobor on the interview. Also liked him at practice, an athletic do everything type of player. Think he’s a top 6 rotation guy.
