gaelshoops, not a bad point. But, consider that could mean a more selfish performance. Not necessarily what is better for the team. What you get from a collective isn't based solely on scoring average. It's still in the best interest of these kids to be complete players who are coachable and generally are good people--this is their own personal brand. The difference between now and in the past is that the kids can now make a few bucks off of said brand. I've never heard of that one.

Y'all see those "Tobin Time" podcasts noted above with the giving levels? First one will be sent to the collective contributors by morning. Exclusive Tobin content, we talk about stuff that's not part of the regular pod. Only way to hear it is to contribute!

So, remember what I said about Tobin Time??? Enjoy this episode--but to continue getting the eps, you have to be a contributor to the collective! This is exclusive content, it won't be on the IonaHoops.com podcast, only this one. So start contributing so you don't get shut out of the content!

Anyone who wants to see "better players" than we have now, as some have said, needs to contribute.

I'm doing the $10/month plan at the moment. If I find I have some cash I can spare I do a one-time contribution in addition. $10 is the lowest plan amount. People can do a one-time contribution each month of $5 instead of setting up an automatic deduction from their checking account or CC and either continue or stop if that is a hardship.

The difference between the 10 and 50 per month for me is too much. But as much time as I dedicate to the team I can't not do at least something. So $10 a month is what I did as well.

Question for 86/Sharkey,
Are schools allowed to use unrestricted endowment monies toward NIL?
If the answer is yes, it won’t be long before we see an annual dose of Harvard vs Stanford in the NCAA Final.
