Um, in case the above isn't clear, we're getting a commitment. Sheesh.

Deondrea Lindsey- 6'8" PF from Knoxville but is playing at Oak Hill Academy (VA) and plays AAU for BMaze. Played at Knoxville Catholic his first two seasons. A consensus Top 150 recruit. Was the top player in his class in Tennessee before transferring. He has already "locked in" Iona as one of his official visits. That is a great job by the staff considering the stiff competition for this player.
Ratings: Rivals: ★★★ 247: ★★★★ ESPN: ★★★★ ON3: ★★★
Offers: Ohio State, PSU, GT, Ole Miss, SMU, Tennessee, Cal
Interest:
Scouting Reports: "Lindsey is a physically gifted frontcourt prospect with obvious upside. A late-bloomer, who has reportedly continued to grow late into his high school years, Lindsey has a terrific frame. He's long and cut-up, with broad shoulders and an already strong frame that will continue to add more muscle mass. He's also very athletic with the ability to run and jump extremely well for his size.
When you have his combination of size, strength, and mobility, you have the potential to be a monster on the defensive end of the floor. Lindsey is already showing some of that versatile potential, covering the court and even playing up at the top of the press, while simultaneously being a physical presence and rebounder in the paint. He has surprisingly low shot-blocking numbers, both in the UAA and EYBL Scholastic, but at least some of that is because his versatility allows him to extend away from the paint. Nevertheless, he projects as someone who can defend ball screens in various ways, move his feet when pulled to the perimeter, and have value in full-court trapping schemes. He's also a committed rebounder who has multiple jumps and can finish possessions on the defensive end.
Offensively, Lindsey is a work in progress, but has plenty of translatable value in a limited role as a screener, rim-runner, finisher, and lob threat. He's a solid free-throw shooter (79% in EYBL Scholastic and 65% in UAA) who has shown some potential to eventually be able to stretch his game away from the basket. But so far he has been unable to make that a reliable part of his game (3-for-21 from three in the UAA, 4-for-20 from three in EYBL Scholastic).
The bottom line is that Lindsey's physical profile translates up to multiple levels and he seems willing to embrace all the versatility and impactful that those gifts allow him on the defensive end. Now it's just a matter of how much the offense can catch-up." Adam Finkelstein - EVALUATED 08/04/2024

I do. As always, I'll wait for the kid to announce, but y'all can probably make a couple educated guesses (or in Greg's case, uneducated guesses) based on some of the info in this thread. Moreover, there are additional clues on Twitter to narrow it down further.

Yep. Pretty easy to figure out. Even for us uneducated.

I'm pretty sure it's not Lindsey, even though I feel there must be a reason for his offer, knowing that so many Top programs have offered. And, I doubt that it's Frank or Jesse.
