Heard of this kid. Tobin offered him at FDU. Hopefully has an inside track. Believe he is the No. 1 ranked player in his class in the state of Jersey. If he can pull this one off this would be a grand slam.
Brady Loughlin - 6'5" SG out of Don Bosco Prep (NJ). Played alongside Dylan Harper (★★★★★ Top 10 player 2024 class, son of NBA player Ron and brother of NBA rookie Ronald Jr. Raptors ) so Loughlin was not the focal point of the offense this past season. Loughlin can shoot the three, plays well around the basket and is a smart player. He should be something special as he matures and gets closer to college ball. Brady's brother Kevin played OL for Fordham.
Jack Bailey - 6'10" SF/PF out of Blair Academy. NYC native, Riverside Hawks AAU. Ranked as the 5th best player in his class in NJ.
Offers: Cal, BC, Butler, Iowa, OSU,GT, SJU, OSU, Monmouth, Fordham , Rhode Island, Manhattan, Bonnies, Bryant, Robert Morris, FDU, GT, Butler and Albany. Interest: Notre Dame, Stanford and Providence, PSU.

Scouting Report: Bailey is a Junior who suits up for @blairacademy_NJ that we recently watched take the court during @njhooprecruit classic.
"Bailey has a great size and fluidity combination that he takes advantage of. He shows great awareness of when to cut to the rim. He has good enough athleticism and coordination to cut, catch, and finish above the rim with ease. On an occasion he displayed focus and grit after missing his first attempt after a nice cut, regaining the rebound and sticking it back in the rim. Bailey displayed ability to attack off of the bounce and create for teammates. We saw him finish with his left hand in traffic after putting the ball on the ground. Lastly Bailey displayed he can knock down a shot from way beyond the high school line. His form and balance look clean and transferable." Ripdango - Twitter- 12/30/23.
"He has great his size, but he is also able to knock down the three or take his opponent off the dribble. He is steadily improving and will be leaned on heavily this season. 4.0 gpa" - RecruitTheBronx- 2023-24 Blair Academy Player Profiles-
"Known for his adeptness of decision making and cerebral style as a versatile 6-foot-10 forward, Manhattan native and Class of 2025 forward Jack Bailey's on-court performance mirrors that of his performance in the classroom. A high academic recruit at Blair Academy (NJ), the pick and pop four-man is hearing from the likes of Harvard, Stanford, Notre Dame, Boston College, and a number of highly prominent academic and athletic programs. While Bailey has recently taken multiple unofficial visits, he is slated for an official visit to Butler University in Indiana this ensuing week. Bailey has gathered recent interest from Cal and Indiana. Known for his deft shooting touch and playmaking, Bailey upped his high major stock with the Riverside Hawks this past summer. He heard from an array of programs at the start of the contact period.
Riverside coach Karriem Memminger was quick to cite Bailey's game between the ears as arguably the most appealing attribute of his hardwood trade. That headiness, coupled with his innate ability to employ multiple positions are aspects which make Bailey such a unique mismatch threat. In today's college basketball environment, with major emphasis placed on versatility and interchangeability, forwards with a consistent shot-making presence are highly sought after commodities. Bailey has a guard skill set and a polished game, with the rare ability to impact nearly every connotation of the stat sheet. "He's very skilled and has a high basketball IQ, a really great feel for the game," Memminger said. "He just knows how to play, and he plays the right way. He's able to shoot the three, he has a mid-range game, and he's a great facilitator. He can put the ball on the deck, bring the ball out, and make good reads. He's got huge upside." Butler has been hot on Bailey's trail for the duration. They took in a practice at Blair last month and have kept tabs on his production rate since the summer. They are coming off a rather forgettable year, registering an overall record of 14-18 while mustering a meager 6-14 record in Big East play.
The true unique draw of Bailey's game is that his multi-dimensional skill set doesn't impact his post play. He's an active ingredient on the glass as a consistent rebounding presence. Bailey knows how to defend the rim as a shot-blocking, shot influencing threat. He will need physicality and apply the hard hat and high motor for the Big East, which is both historically and currently one of the nation's most rough and tumble conferences." - Zach Smart- NYCHOOPS.NET- 10/19/2023

Scouting Report: "Moore, who is entering his freshman year at perennial North Jersey powerhouse Hudson Catholic this fall was one of the more athletic and agile players in the gym at East Stroudsburg on Thursday. Standing at 6-1 and looking like he could grow a few more inches, Moore had great bounce and was very comfortable attacking the rim and finishing over defenders in traffic. Moore finished with 18 points in the matchup I saw him, showing the ability to hit shots from beyond the arc and draw contact leading to some free throw makes as well. His energy on the defensive end of the floor was a plus as well."- Ryan Coyle - Hoop Group Future All-American Standouts- City of Basketball Love.
"This slasher and driving guard has the hops and handle to get to the rim and finish with highlights. He hit jumpers off the move inside the 3-point arc. Once his range extends look out! He scored 13 points in the Top 60 game and showed he belonged in top game." - Dinos Trigonis - 2021 Pangos All-East Frosh/Soph Camp Top Performers- November 16, 2021
"Omari Moore is an elite scorer for the NJ Scholars who can get buckets at all three levels. At the NXTGEN circuit session 2, Omari drained multiple tough pull up jumpers, displayed his remarkable finishing ability around the rim and netted deep threes at opportune times. As impressive as his scoring ability is, Moore also plays with great energy and emotion, using his athleticism to make plays all over the court and get his team fired up. Against Philly Revolution, Omari went on an incredible scoring run to blow the game open, punctuated by an electric slam ahead of the court. He also had an impressive 20-point game against PSA on Sunday morning in a huge win for the Scholars." - Jackson Mannix - MARQUEE HOOPS X HOOP GROUP SESSION 2: 8TH GRADE STANDOUTS - Marquee Hoops
Nas Hart- 6'8" SF/PF out of Hackensack, NJ. will be playing College Achieve Public Charter School. Plays AAU for Shoreshots Rio UAA. He is a friend of Sultan's.
Preston Edmead - 6' PG out of Deer Park(NY) via Williston North Hampton (MA) and Middlesex Magic (AAU). Previously played for The First Love Christian Academy (PA.) and NY Jayhawks AAU. Very tough defender. Smart, super quick and crafty floor General who can score or hit the open teammates. We have been on him since Tobin first arrived at Iona. Was a 2024 recruit but he decided to reclassify. I believe that Tobin offered him while at FDU and has kept up the relationship since then. His older brother Aaren played PG at Wagner and finished up at NCA&T. Aaren was the 2014 Long Island Player of the Year by Newsday. Preston's other brother is Malik Edmead who is now playing at Merrimack, after transferring to Albany for a year after two seasons at Merrimack where he earned NEW All Rookie Honors.

Scored from all three levels highlighted by his bounce at the rim for powerful dunks." - Dylan Thayer - NERR 2.0 - #S16 Standouts-06/02/23
I assume in the new era of NIL recruitment for MAAC type conferences will focus on winning conference titles and not necessarily becoming mid major powerhouses. Nothing wrong with winning a conference every other year and a tournament every 3. I think folks need to let the reality of NIL really sink in.
