No, the first thing he needs to know is that Iona is a University. I think what he’s getting at is that Jeff Ruland will not be coming to Iona. He’s flipped to Kentucky…

Halon Rawlins - 6'6" SG/SF out of Nazareth in Brooklynn and plays AAU for New Heights. Earned First Team ALL CHSAA "AA". Averaged 15.1 points this season. Possibly the best two way player in NYC.
Ratings: Rivals: N/R 247: N/R ESPN: ★★★ ON3: N/R
Offers: Seton Hall, Fordham, High Point, Manhattan, OSU, Temple, and Iona.
Interest: Providence, Oklahoma
Scouting Reports: "Nazareth HC @g_erv3 has serious talent returning starting with Halon Rawlins 6-6 w/spurt-ability, knocks down transition treys, can spur the transition attack and willing passer...multi positional defender. Should have upped his stock at CHSAA 's at Fordham" - Zach Smart - 03/11/24
"A forward that is very strong and agile and is able to use his physicality to be a force for his team. Not only is he a great rebounder in the low block for his team, but he is also an efficient shot blocker, who is also able to time when the opposition is going up for a shot. Also finds ways to draw fouls to get to the free-throw line." - David Cordova - 2024 CHSAA AA Semifinals Top Performers
"All colleges coaches buy stock now Halon Rawlings will be the next big thing out of New York City. The 6’4 SG has the ability to play on both side of the floor. After an impressive two EYBL stops. Halon picks ups two offers from Fordham and High Point University." -NYCPROSPECTS - 05/02/23
"A forward that is able to do many things on the court and is very mobile. Has a penchant for showcasing his athleticism on both ends of the court and obtaining rebounds when in the post area. Is a leader for his team, as he sets the tone for the squad by bringing plenty of energy on the floor. " - David Cordova - 2024 Crusader Classic Invitational Top Performers

I have heard that Mount Vernon has a very talented PG named Tavien Tyler. He is undersized (5’7) but maybe he has a growth spurt in him. Wondering if 86 or any others know anything about him? Seems like he could be one of the best players in the state next season as a senior.
