Fingers crossed for Barton; looks strong as can be and played high level competition. One curiosity: A DMV player is not rated by a single service?

Halon Rawlins - 6'7" SF out of Nazareth. Plays AAU NY Rent formerly at New Heights. Was all league CHSAA "A". . Averaged 19.1 ppg last season and earned NYSSWA 1st Team All State honors. Top contender for The 2024/25 NY State Mr. Basketball honors. One of the best 2 way players in his class. Basketballheadzz ranked him the # 1 player in his class for NYC. This guy is better than a lot of the 4 Star recruits I have seen over the years. If he played for Christ the King, or Stepinac he would easily be ranked in the Top 150 in the nation, at a minimum. Tough , smooth player that is very versatile Ratings:Rivals: NR 247: NR ESPN: ★★★ ON3: NR Offers: Seton Hall, Fordham, High Point, Manhattan, OSU, Temple, and Iona. Interest: Scouting Reports:"A forward that is strong and agile and is able to do plenty of things on the floor. Is able to put the ball on the floor and get past defenders to glide to the basket. Is a good finisher when going to the basket. Has great hands, as he is able to obtain rebounds and block shots." - David Cordova - 2024 CHSAA Team Camp Top Performers"A forward that has the ability to make his presence felt on the floor with his toughness and his ability to hold his own in the front court. Patrick Curtin - 6'2" CG out of Glenelg Country School (MD) and has played for Team Melo and Topp Tier Bball. Tough-nosed, two-way guard who plays through contact. Kid can shoot. He would thrive in Tobin's system. Was a Washington Post All Met Team honorable mention selection and a DMVelite All-Maryland Team honorable mention selection. Ratings:Rivals: N/R 247: N/R ESPN: N/R ON3: N/R Offers: Binghamton, Wagner, Bucknell, Loyola (MD), American, Mount Saint Mary’s, Bryant, Interest: George Mason, W&M, Penn State, Scouting Report:"Patrick Curtin showed the ability to shoot the ball at a consistent rate. His Top Tier Black Maryland team competed and rode his stroke into deep playoff runs. The Glenelg Country School product has a strong IQ always looking to make a game-winning play." - Baseline to Sideline- Tip-off Classic Wrap-up - July 10, 2023 "Finding a place to stand was a luxury as the court was swarmed with people. Joson Sanon (29pts) and Patrick Curtin (34 pts) led the way for both teams scoring wise as the two Division One prospects traded threes throughout the game. Upon viewing Curtin for the first time, his shooting ability off the dribble is one that defenses need to beware of. The guard gets his shots off in an instant and can hit them from well beyond the arc with efficiency. His confidence radiated throughout the crowd and his ability to thread full-court passes was eye-opening. " - NERR - ZGXL: The Launch - Recap - Dylan Thayer- April 29th, 2024 Curtin commits to Bucknell.

Just heard Barton not committing to Iona. Don't want to post where he's going.
