Guy, know you said that but I was fooled by a Guy using your name on the MAAC Board who picked Iona giving the points.
On a serious note, I'm pretty sure that Iona will improve somewhat as the season (OOC) moves along, but don't see us as a good foul shooting team, nor a good rebounding team. Panzo seems like our only dependable 3pt shooter, though I have hopes for Dylan Saunders by the time MAAC play starts for real.
Quigley came off the bench and seemed to have a very good game, with 10 points, a team leading six assists, and he also led the team with six boards.

Offense looks so predictable My biggest concern. The team is running this offense by design. It’s not primarily a matter of execution; this offense is not very effective unless you have an Uber quick slasher who gets to the rim at will and an array of 3 points snipers waiting outside for open shot opportunities. We don’t have that slasher on the team and an offense like this will not get better with the present personnel, even when they have played together for months. We have to start running some ball screen's, give and goes, back cuts, etc. I see absolutely none of that. Seemed like Gordon would be that slashing guy. Not sure what happens but he’s been invisible in the last two after a big time opener. Definitely early and no need to panic but today was a big step back.

I'm going to suggest not going to the beach before the next tournament. Players complained about Supers food selection for the loss

I'm liking this FR class more and more every game. Saunders. While limited PT, looks more comfortable than I expected. Plays with confidence, knocked down 2-5 from 3, being 6'9 wouldn't mind to see him get a little more PT these next few games and see what he contributes.

I’m not taking issue with the execution. It’s the design. Shema will be a huge help, especially if we start running some plays that take advantage of his passing ability.

Wondering what happened to Adewale. Played for 6 minutes in the first 10 minutes of the game and then never came back. Didn't see him get injured so I assume it was coaches decision.

Don't know if this what we want or don't want, but it looks like we'll be playing Long Beach, tomorrow. Believe they won at Michigan, last week.

As for Adewale, early on the game turned into a 3pt shooting contest as we fell behind by double digits. And it's possible that TA thought that Williams was a better option. I would expect that Adewale will get more PT, tomorrow.
