ESPN has Iona -1.5. An offensive key to Iona winning is Panzo hitting three's. On defense is Gordon staying out of foul trouble. P.S. It would help if Guy picks Colgate. I can’t put my finger on why Iona is a favorite. I mean this is not one of the stronger Colgate teams I have seen, but they have a long track record of success the past few season with some notable wins this year over Vermont (always a tough MM) and Weber State who beat Saint Mary’s. They also have a lot more height. I’m just not getting it I think the line shifts back to them by tip. |

I think there's a "Joebirdism" in play tonight. For years many have noticed that some of our absolute best and boisterous crowds at Mulcahy-then-Hynes seem to produce...losses. Tonight feels like a night where we'll have like 1200 in the building, at best. Feels like a W to me, Joebird!

Feels like one of those games where we will see some improvement but manage to come up short. I’ll go with Colgate 68-65.

I hope they play well vs Harvard, but that result doesn't matter too much in the end.
Here's my wish for Iona as Colgate is probably better than most MAAC teams. Play like you did tonight at home! Great ball movement and moving without the ball. The goal should be 9-0 at home and 4/5 wins on the road for the 18 conf games remaining.
