Who were those guys in white tonight?
They shared the ball, they moved the ball, they scored the ball; they drove the basket, they made 3s, the upperclassmen contributed big time, and the freshmen are still playing very well. Very nice win.
Go Gaels!!!

Amen. Toward the end of the first half I started losing the video and the sound went in and out.
Sound was better in the second half, but I lost the video more.
Frustrating.
Go Gaels!!!

I hope they play well vs Harvard, but that result doesn't matter too much in the end. Here's my wish for Iona as Colgate is probably better than most MAAC teams. Play like you did tonight at home! Great ball movement and moving without the ball. The goal should be 9-0 at home and 4/5 wins on the road for the 18 conf games remaining. Huge turnaround game; credit to the players and staff. Great to see this kind of movement on offense, especially without the ball.

Did not see the game, but from the box score it looks like Tretout got going tonight

Nice surprise! Played like a team tonight, much improved passing, great intensity on d. Tobin must have woke the seniors up at practice this week. Maybe we needed the St. joes humiliation. Aranguren has a great future and Tretout came out of his slumber tonight. Last but not least, some of the hustle plays I saw from Shema tonight were just fantastic, once he gets his legs underneath him he will really start to shine.
A season that was getting very bleak now has some life and hope just in time for Maac play!

Did not see the game, but from the box score it looks like Tretout got going tonight At the game, i think shema helped the flow, he also caused disruption on defense. Some blocks and deflections. To me Jean Arguen (spelling) was the player of the game.

I've checked on the TV problems and found that it is a major part of the strategy to encourage people to come to the games.

Leaving the HAC I described Oz as a Disruptor, and was glad to read what the Hat thought of him. 2. Not only was Jean Aranguren the player of the game, but I think by season's end he'll lead the team in scoring. Tonight he shot 8-9, 2-3 and 4-6. Throw in eight rebounds, and two steals in 26 minutes. Santa arrived early.

It was nice that PJ Carlesimo was at the game to watch his son.

Feels like one of those games where we will see some improvement but manage to come up short. I’ll go with Colgate 68-65. Tickled pink I was wrong and this is the reason I don’t gamble. 😬

What a great turnaround after the St. Joe’s disaster. Oz is truly remarkable! Cheering and “coaching” from the bench and going full out when he’s in the game. He changed a few Colgate shots. Aranguren is getting more confident and aggressive on the drive. It’s nice to see Saunders mix it up inside with bigger, stronger forwards. I hope that they can help Quigley find a way to finish when he penetrates. They also have to figure a way to get the ball to Oz inside. Not a bad turnout at Hynes considering that school is closed. Pep band always brings good energy.
