Will admit the Bobcats are better than I thought. They'll be up for this game, but they're also not used to being the hunted. We continue to do the things we've done the past couple games and we'll have a good chance.

Def a big test as many have said. Should be a tight spread, 1 or 2 points.
Encouraged by the last 2 games, let's see if they actually have turned a corner.

Will admit the Bobcats are better than I thought. They'll be up for this game, but they're also not used to being the hunted. We continue to do the things we've done the past couple games and we'll have a good chance. I think that the Bobcat BB team is hurt by the success of their hockey team. Or at least the student interest in their hockey team. No reason why the arena shouldn't be close to capacity. |

Last year, i was at the Quinny game and the refs were asking the police officer assigned to the game to admonish/remove iona fans.(the iona fan was an older guy, doing nothing wrong.)

Speaking of JPR, he is a devoted Gael fan and I’ve had the pleasure of sitting alongside of him the last few years. He makes all the home games and many away, including holiday and post season tournament play. At last nights game he reiterated his love for New Rochelle and Iona University. Born and raised in NEWRO, he’s been hanging around campus since the mid 50’s. He became an alum in class of ‘68. Let’s all wish him and his wife Marilisa well as they make their move from Connecticut to their new home in Naples, FL. |
