Good morning to all! A lot of dialogue, opinions, and criticisms from yesterday's game. I learned a long time ago to read body language. Watching our team and staff body language is positive. Missed two games so far this year and each time I have been there our team plays to win not to lose. Yes mistakes are made and there is no such thing as a perfect game. Sure I can ask myself why why, however I am blessed to have a program to support and root for IONA! Lets focus on the positives- many times positives come from a loss!! TA and staff keep coaching and players keep playing hard. Tau god, Hawaii Bill and Guy keep supporting!! Coach Al

However, I’ll repeat until it’s addressed and corrected. We must begin defending the easy layups we’ve been giving up all season. It was not just yesterday but problematic in every game we’ve played. I know baseball and football very well, basketball somewhat. While I think the layup problem is a function of the strong defense we play on the perimeter, something has to change. I think many posters have agreed on the layups as a concern which were prevalent in this game against Quinny…

We didnt.
