1s, 2s, 3s JQ Aranguren Bates Menard Wallace 4s and 5s Brice Sully Saunders Hogarth This leaves 3 spots for transfers and JUCOs--very young above! Logic suggests a pure guard, a wing, and a 4/5. I really liked what I saw from Alex Bates down the stretch of the season. So much I thought he should’ve had Tretout’s playing time during the FF game late. How many of these guys does Tobin want back? IMO Saunders showed me nothing outside of a 3pt shot. Don’t see how he fits in going forward. Obviously can improve. What do you guys think?

Because they said there'd be no math. Corrected.

Nature of today's game suggests a couple of these guys won't stick around. Would agree that Saunders is the most likely to depart--but he is very close with Bates, and my hunch is Bates is staying. I like the continuity of keeping as many guys as possible, though. I am very hopeful most of these guys stay.

Brett Bisbing was not very athletic when he first started at Siena, but he bulked up a bit and became a great MAAC player. Not saying Saunders can be that but they are similar size and both lack a quick step, but Bisping worked at it and was pretty solid.

I believe Saunders was scheduled to be red-shirted, then the Dartmouth commit got hurt and Os got hurt and he was needed. The Dartmouth commit, good size, 5th year senior, would have helped.

Shooting guard, two tall wings and 5 who can get dirty down low. You will never get that center while he is coaching Would hope the coach would consider a big, burly 5 who can work in the paint. Would help against the league teams that play half court slug fest style games. I know Tobin likes to press and play 100 mph but every game doesn’t warrant that style.

Good point about the free throw percentage. I have a job for 59. Go through our season and strictly on a point basis check to see if any of the outcomes would have changed using 75% across the board as points made from the foul line. My guess would be 3 or 4 extra W’s.
