Iona has always had a very good A/TO ratio. This season, not so much. It's currently 41/68. The one positive side is the only 2 players on the plus side are Reaves (11/6) and Njie (14/12), the 2 starting guards. Not high assist totals. But plenty of room for improvement as hopefully the shooting will improve, leading to more assists. The big culprits are the starters up front. Rupert (4/13), Patterson (3/11) and Moundi (3/7). If Tobin goes smaller more often those numbers should improve as well, as Rupert and Patterson will likely handle the ball less on the perimeter They reverse those numbers, this team will be tough to beat

He has a nice spin move and is very strong. Where he runs into trouble is where he handles the ball excessively in the lane with multiple dribbles.

Rupert and Patterson have been stripped multiple times trying to dribble drive into the paint.

No idea on Minard at all.
My guess re Rupert--again, just a guess--is that the game got away from us in a hurry and Tobin said the hell with it, let's give Hogarth run. I think I said this earlier, it really doesn't matter whether you lose by 20 or 40.
Someone suggested we may be just trying to manage Barr's minutes, easing him back, and once again since that got away from us last night, Tobin said the hell with it, why risk him. Makes sense to me.
Again, these are just guesses.

Again, these are just guesses. I believe this is pretty spot on. There was definitely a point where Tobin and the staff shifted their focus. Staff spent allot of time trying to keep the teams spirits up. Allot of cheerleading with a little less emphasis on instruction. I really believe the players are taking accountability. Seem to understand they are underperforming. Just my 2 cents from what I saw last night.

How about Barr and Rupert? I remember when I turned 18 walking up to a bar and ordering a Rupert's beer. Hope that helps.
