Most like our starting point guard next season transfers. This is unreal.

Have to give credit to those that said the whole team was leaving.
I said they wouldn't and looks like was very wrong.
Hard to know if this is simply how it is now or maybe the players don't like Tobin, or a combo of the both. Nothing can be dismissed at this point.
This is a hard pill to swallow.

What a disaster! Then again they mostly all stunk so maybe starting completely over is better. And although Quigley was good, he was small and couldn't pass, but not easy to find better unless Menard is.

Player leave for a plethora of reasons. In the past it is playing time, homesickness, being recruited over or they just don' t like the staff or the team. Now you throw in no limits to instant gratification and NIL money and you have a bigger problem. It will take time but many of the players that leave will find out their new situation sucks more than the last situation. My view is they are all rentals now until the prove otherwise. Mercenaries who are to be used and discarded as they want it that way. The kids who decide to stay with a program for their careers will be remembered as something special, the ones that leave will be a footnote on a roster. This is the new reality for Mid major programs. The players who had a strong year will look to move to a bigger program (Quigley) and those who did not play much will leave for more playing time (Brice, Saunders). Sad state of college basketball.

We should throw them all out and recruit 13 grad kids. Then we'll just get 13 new ones every year, and won't lose anyone to the portal. Problem solved!

Well, Terrell DID have another year left, but... He just had a rough year. Seemed like a great kid. Good luck to him and I hope he gets healthy.
