SLG, any opinion on attendance? I can only count to six - my fingers are crossed.

Not surprised. We ask about attendance, and you give us the finger.

Not surprised. We ask about attendance, and you give us the finger. You raise two issues in such a short post: Who is the "we"? I don't recall '70 asking about attendance. As for giving the finger - no can do, fingers are crossed.

Roster looks complete, check it out 59. Roster is indeed complete and shows 15 players. Not sure if Women's teams are still allowed 15 scholarships, or whether two of the players are walk ons. Anyone know?

Anyone know? The maximum number of scholarships a Division 1 women's college basketball program can award is 15 full rides. These scholarships cover all college costs, including tuition, housing, and books. Any additional players on the team are considered walk-on players and can't receive athletic aid.

Juana and the Spaniards defeat the USA and will take on the winner of Germany - Canada game at 4:00 PM. Germany has been the best team in the tournament, but Juana guaranteed a silver with a great shot at gold!

Juana becomes Iona's FIRST Olympic medalist (Silver), losing a one point game to Germany in the finals. She was Spain's high scorer. Congrats Juana.
