* Our freshman PG has shown flashes, and I look for continued improvement as he gets more game experience.

Bottom line, I don't think that we'll see real improvement until the first of the new year, when we should have Winborne back.

I'll nitpick a couple of your points:

Rupert was also +14 while Moundi was -14. This is a ridiculous difference.

Barr averaged only 9ppg at the D2 level. He's not a scorer, never will be. And he was still +15.

The only problem I have with +/- ratings is whether the rating was an indication of the team overall. For instance (and I have no idea if this info is available) what were their ratings in the first half, when the team wasn't playing well, and we were down eight? We outscored VT by 11 in the 2nd half. My evaluation, I didn't see CR contribute very much. But, maybe I missed it.

If the number between Rupert and Moundi were closer, I'd agree.

We're talking about a 28--TWENTY EIGHT--point difference here though.

I think with Barr now back and Winborne soon to be, you'll definitely see us go with Biggie at the 4 more often.

Jeez: Reminds of another post I recently read here.

I really don't like the 5 out when Moundi and Rupert are on the floor at the same time. I also don't like that they clear out the side when Rupert gets the ball, denying any outlet - usually results in a turnover. Just thought that I should post after a win.
