Remember last year when we were a mess, and then we hosted Colgate and they rolled? That's kind of what I'm hoping for here. At some point, things will click. I think the fan base needs to see that click on Friday. And they did! |

Gaels win the only way Iona wins close last minute games, by holding on to the lead, even though they did everything they could to blow it. But very Gutsy and much needed comeback win! Tobin needs to press with this team as much as possible. Barr made a difference as did sitting Moundi for quicker and better pressers. If Patterson can provide offense like he did in the second half this team has a chance. Thinking about it, if this team had Barr we probably would be 3-1, though we easily could be 0-4 right now. We could of used him to clamp down on Lee with Princeton. |

We have had plenty of terrific student sideline reporters Give her time!!!!! My guess is that she is just starting out in the business. As EP said give her time, and we have other things to complain about. And, you might be surprised to know that when greg started posting, his posts made no sense whatsoever. Now, look at them. |

Some observations after getting home from a loud, enthusiastic Hynes Center, despite all the empty chairbacks.
1. Bundy almost single handedly got us back in the game doing things that don’t show up in a box score
2. Bundy’st’s footwork on defense is superb.
3. Moundi’s stroke on free throws has certainly improved. Let’s hope that results in better performance.
4. Several times we made the last free throw even after missing the first. So important in setting up the press.
5. We were much quicker than Princeton, Delaware, and Vermont. Bodes well for MAAC play. Hofstra outsped and outhustled us.
6. There were some negatives, but I’m just going to enjoy this win.

Was not able to watch tonight so I will watch tomorrow but I have one comment - the gold unis this year are super clean.

Smart move by Tobin to go smaller the last 8 minutes or so. Kept Moundi out probably due to deficient foul shooting. Biggie and Rupert handled the boards. Smart move, it clears the lane, can't have Ruppert and moundi in the lane |

You can curb the sarcasm Jim. No sarcasm, Tobin needed this win and so did the team. West Virginia is getting stomped by Pitt tonight. Lets build off this win tonight and carry it over to the WV game. I'm back on the Iona Train!! Go Gaels!! LMAO |
