I was at the World Vision Classic Cleveland, OH November 12-14, 2010 Kent State 73 • Iona 72 Cleveland State 78 • Iona 68 Bryant 74 • Iona 72 This was the debut of the Cluess/Grasso era. The loss to Bryant was horrible since they were in the bottom 10 RPI the previous year but, you could see the potential of Glover, Machado, Jenkins, Armand. |

I was at the World Vision Classic Cleveland, OH November 12-14, 2010 Kent State 73 • Iona 72 Cleveland State 78 • Iona 68 Bryant 74 • Iona 72 This was the debut of the Cluess/Grasso era. The loss to Bryant was horrible since they were in the bottom 10 RPI the previous year but, you could see the potential of Glover, Machado, Jenkins, Armand. They became known as "F******g Bryant" to me for a while, so much that on the MAAC board they added a filter to change any mention of Bryant to the F version. It was still funny much later. |

We're talking about days of practice in between these 3 games. The only thing I am asking here is to improve. What we saw in half 1 last night made me quite a bit angry, because it was street ball and the coach should have made an example to his team that it was unacceptable play. |

This is year 1 of this talent pool with Tobin. Point being that Cluess figured how best to use his talent in year one. Back to joebird's NIL context; there is more pressure on Tobin to figure out his talent mix in one-year increments, and he needs to figure it out earlier to protect his record. Another fallout element of NIL. |
