I am too lazy to go back and look, but was this our biggest margin of defeat in the last 50 years? I remember we got pummeled in a buy game at Colorado Tre Arnold’s year. |

I am too lazy to go back and look, but was this our biggest margin of defeat in the last 50 years? I was at the UConn game in early 2000s where I believe they lost 100-50. Can't imagine much worse than that has happened. |

Even the great Cluess teams were good for an early season beat down every year. Let’s bury this game six feet under and forget it ever happened. Hopefully Winborne could be that missing piece we need. At 1-4, let’s hope Tobin can keep the team together |

Moving forward for next game, what kind of team are we supposed to be? It's 2 years and I have no idea if we are a defensive team, offensive, pressing team, inside team , 3 pt team....
Even when we started out under Cluess there was a plan, I don't see a plan in the recruiting or the results of games what exactly we are .

I know some wanted to play more buy games. Personally I’m glad that was the only one in the OOC.
Significant need to work on the offense. Often I’m not sure what they are trying to do. Not clear that the players understand what they are trying to execute. It’s not just the bad shooting percentage, it’s the lack of plays or an approach that produces open looks.
We got beaten badly by a strong team in a buy game. Not the end of the world. Learn from this and turn the page. We will not be playing an opponent of this quality in the MAAC.

I didn't remember the 50-point loss to UConn. I'll forget this loss too. Hopefully as the season progresses there will be wins to remember.

* Iona Men's and Women's teams lost by a combined 79 points on the same day.
* This is also a record for former FDU coaches.
* And even more bad news. Just opened my mail and found that my season tickets arrived, and it's not even December.
