Love having a mid-major make the Final Four again... it's a longshot and contrary to my bracket pick, but could anyone imagine if TWO mid-majors made the Final 4? Jay Bilas would have heart failure and the NCAA would further rig the tourney in favor of the BCS schools.
Go VCU!!

Yeah, you just know the AD/boosters of Georgia Tech or LSU are just livid they aren't getting any cash and exposure this year and Butler, gulp, is.

VCU just pasting Kansas, up 18 in the first half. Kansas looks like it completely exhausted itself v. Richmond on Fri. Two mid-majors in the final four? Next year, we'll all be banned.

I can just hear some booster at Kansas, "I give $100k a year to this school, and Virginia Commonwealth is in the final four, and we ain't. Just ain't right."

What's the NCAA going to do to avoid another nightmare like this for its BCS schools. 2 mid majors in the final four and two years in row one in the championsip game. Good chance a mid major wins the national championship. It's just not right as these teams schedules are far too easy and they don't deserve at large bids or seeds higher than 8. No way the second or third place team in a mid major is competitive with a .500 in conference BSC school .

Am I watching the National Championship or Iona-Manhattan circa 2009? Reminded me of the Iona SPC game from a few weeks ago.
