OK, so who's leaving? Anyone want to take an educated guess? I don't like to speculate about guys leaving, transferring out, but here goes. I guess its a possibility that Mike has decided to forego his senior year to earn some $$$. Just wild speculation on my part. Don't know one way or another. Maybe wild speculation, but not unreasonable!

How about James Anacreon.
Go to Google News "Iona Basketball Anacreon"

Someone always leave. My guess to is the Serb followed by James. I pray we get another year from Glove. I really think with him & Machado coming back this is a top 40 team.
Gaels will have a huge opportunity to prove it early in Puerto Rico, we need to go 2-1 there to be as good as I hope, and 2-1 with that field would be a tremendous accomplishment. Without Glove we can forget that as well as top 40 or at large.

It makes sense that if Mike was leaving, we'd be signing PF's and not Wings. So unless you're a fan of another MAAC school, try someone else. JMO.

Mention of the Puerto Rico Tip-Off - speculation that I have heard is that the yet to be named final team in the field (a Big East team) will be Louisville.

Not rooting for Mike to leave in any sense of the word, and I have no information one way or another, but we had two schollies (after R James committed) and we signed three 6'7" guys, one who appears to be strong inside. So, as it has been stated, obviously someone is leaving.

Tweets:
Zagoria on our newest recruit, James Anacreon -
I`m told 6-7 #Iona commit James Anacreon of Lakeland CC is an `athletic freak`
Brad Winton, JuCo recruiting -
James Anacreon from Lake Land College (IL) another nice 2011 JUCO pick up for Iona. Great athlete/good around the rim.

It makes sense that we went after 6-7 types ,whenever mike got in foul trouble most of the time we had to bring randy in and gave up length.I think Kesic is the one who is leaving folllowed by at least one more if not two imo.

We got another one coming in next year, DuJaun Williams, 6'7" JuCo from Texas. Maybe Cluess has a hight restriction?

Raver over on the Maac board must be loving it. One of his favorite phrases in IJC.
