That was a bs tech foul call on the dunk by Ridley Don't really agree Super. It was a situational thing. Its not so much what Taaj did, which wasn't all that much. Its a rivalry game with an intense atmosphere and in the wake of Xavier-Cincinnati refs are going to take control. I think its completely expected. Its kind of what we've all been saying a lot this year, the guys need to understand situations.

I thought this was our most complete game. We made a nice offensive adjustment when they took the 3 away - we went successfully inside. When the Jaspers started to make a run in the second half, Scotty took control and hit two 3s and a 2. We also adjusted nicely on D and took the 3 away from them and contained Beamon in the second half. Nice execution all around by players and staff.
Can't wait for Friday. GO GAELS!

That was a bs tech foul call on the dunk by Ridley No it wasn't and it showed some immaturity in Taj. Hopefully he will learn from it. Why show the guy up like that. Let your basketball actions speak for you not the other bull...t.

Apparently the MAAC has been relegated to ESPN3 until the MAAC Championship game.
Go Gaels!!!

Joebird you mentioned you had cablevison and were able to see the game. I also have cablevision and when I tried to get in it told me because of my subscriber I didn't have access. How were you able to get the game?

How were you able to get the game? I used a friend's login who has Fios. It was very blurry and paused a lot for me, but no one else seemed to have that problem. Maybe you need Fios for it to look good.

Kid Beamon is quite a good player. Listed at 6'4 but looks closer to 5'11.

I have optimum online with boost and a brand new modem. Not sure why mine is so bad. Am Ii the only one who has such a bad experience with this? Optimum Online with Boost should do the trick, it's actually a pretty good product. You should do a speedtest (There's a bunch of websites that do it) Make sure you are getting the speed you are supposed to be getting. If not, call Cablevision. Another trick I do is to reboot the modem and the router before each game. If those don't work it might be your computer... - Hope that helps.

I had Cablevision for many years and I had nothing but problems. Bandwidth would shrink as neighbors went on line; there were service outages. They blamed every problem on my internal wiring. I brought FIOS in and I've never had another problem. And I'm still using the same wiring. My internet speed has more than tripled. TVs are sharper and brighter than ever.

Was at the game. The intensity and crowd atmosphere were terrific. I believe the Gaels played their best game of the year under very tough conditions. Of course i could have done without the constant group cursing and chanting curses from the Manhattan student section. I'm glad i didn't have any small kids at the game.
If this game were in new Rochelle and the same behavior by Iona students was taking place under Br. Liqori , I can picture him going to the scorer's table and letting the student section know this is fair warning stop it or we'll forfeit.
It was pretty intense in that gym, I'm just glad cooler heads prevailed.
A truly great win.

Nothing like being there though. Thank you for the perspective.

For the last two ESPN3 games, I used my kids' new laptop, which has an HDMI output and connected it with an HDMI cable to the flatscreen TV. While, there were a few pauses, and a few brief moments where the picture got a little foggy, overall the picture quality was very good. For the record, I have FIOS, as well. I've you've got a computer with an HDMI output, I highly recommend trying this. It might work with a smartphone with an HDMI output as well. I think I'll try that with my daughter's Atrix next time.

I still haven't watched the Manhattan game--your suggestion now has me planning this into this evening's schedule. ;-)
