Smyth must have a dead.shoulder. Hard. to win on the road. Taj is.not.the.answer In summary, looking back: We are a good team, not great. Two great and very consistent players in Machado and Glover who have remarkedly stayed out of foul trouble all year. One very good sometimes erratic player in Momo. The rest have moments but do not provide consistency, which is why we can lose to Hofstra and Siena. The guards as a group are very good. The big guys as a goup are a little better than average (only because Glover is so good)

My gut says this team loses one more before the end of the regular season, probably at home against Fairfield.
As for the Maac tourney I think the Gaels either win it or never get to Monday, a semi or even a quarterfinal loss may be on the horizon.
If we do make the tourney another first round torturous last second loss looms.

I really don't get it how this team looks so intimidated, we have 3 guys that could start for any BCS in the country. We can't play any worse than this. Almost, but not quite any BCS team. And you play with 5 and need another 2-3 good ones off the bench.

I'm amazed how Randy only gets 9 minutes. Another game where Pelcher might have helped. Moiboku? Can someone tell me why the ship to a junior who isn't helping this year?
These guys played with more intensity under Willard

Hounds came out and punched us in the mouth and we ran away with our tails between our legs. Championship teams don't play like that. It's okay to be on the short end of the score, it's not okay to play the way they did in such an important game. Very disappointed - they're waaay better than that.

I did not want them to recover from the hole they put themselves in last night and have a false sense of security that they can play themselves back into any game where they have not played with complete intensity.
Tough to predict what this team will do on any given night, joebird, but no team will be shaking in their sneakers when they go up against us in the tourney. It might be the other way around. The bullseye will always be on our backs due to the hype and expectations.
This was a major disappointment after we played our most complete game against Manhattan.

Good with everything, but Momo would not start for at least 20 teams. I don't care what he did at AZ. He is good..but. Have you seen teams like Duke and North Carolina play? Many teams have Glovers and Momos out the Wazoo. And they should, they are the BEST teams in the country. Rivers, Curry and the rest compare to almost anyone.

So this is just one game. The season isn't over. There are four games left. Let's take them one at a time, shake this off and beat Marist tomorrow night. Let's move on.

CTBill,
Patterns rarely change. Lesson's have not been learned. You will see this result again. This team should be better than this. Something is missing.

"These guys played with more intensity under Willard"ichoops--Which guys: Momo, Glover, Armand, Ridley, Diggs, James? ?? Machado was #2 last year now #1 in assists--only after KW left.
