A stupefied Chelsea holds on to win the FA Cup over Liverpool, 2-1. Controversial call on a header from Andy Carroll of LP that was saved by Petr Cech. Looked on replay that it was no goal. Yep. No goal. I'm still disappointed Everton couldn't beat Liverpool and get to the final. Hopefully they can beat Newcastle to finish ahead of them in the league. Wait till next year! (or in the premier league, a couple of months)

Chelsea to play at Yankee Stadium in July
NEW YORK -- Paris Saint-Germain's Carlo Ancelotti will manage against his former team when the French club plays a preseason exhibition against Champions League finalist Chelsea on July 22 in the first soccer game at new Yankee Stadium.
Chelsea also announced a fourth match for its U.S. tour on Monday, saying it will play AC Milan on July 28 at Sun Life Stadium in Miami.
Coming off Saturday's 2-1 win over Liverpool for its seventh FA Cup, Chelsea plays at Bayern Munich on May 19 hoping for its first title in Europe's top club tournament.
Hired by Chelsea in June 2009, Ancelotti managed the Blues to the Premier League-FA Cup double in his first season, then was fired two hours after a second-place finish in the league last May. He was hired by PSG on Dec. 30.
Former Chelsea defender Alex also is on PSG, which has two games left and is competing with Montpellier for the French league title.
Chelsea opens its U.S. tour July 18 at the Seattle Sounders. After the PSG match, the first for Chelsea in New York City since 1954, the Blues play the Major League Soccer All-Stars on July 25 in Chester, Pa.
Tottenham, Liverpool and Aston Villa also have preseason U.S. tours.

Not sure I get your point. This is on the off-topic discussion page. Not on the basketball page. Check the other threads everything from Rugby to Water Polo.

Manchester City's late goal gives them a win over QPR and more important their first English league title since 1968. Man U finishes second on goal differential and Arsenal holds on to the third spot with a 3-2 win over West Brom.
Next Saturday is the Super Bowl of club soccer. Champions League final, Bayern-Munich v. Chelsea in Munich. If Chelsea wins they secure an invite to the Champions League next year, even though they didn't finish in the top four of the English Premier League. Tottenham will be the odd man out.

Congratulations to Manchester City on winning The English Premier League title. Pulled it out with two goals in stoppage time - what a thrilling final day in the EPL!
There is hope Met fans - M.C. are the N.Y Met's of the EPL - second fiddle to Manchester United and filled with a history of bad luck.
Next year it's Everton!!!

Didier Drogba put Chelsea on his back Saturday, and they won the CL Title. Today Drogba announced he is leaving Chelsea. Heading to China.

The USMNT plays Canada tonight in Toronto in what I believe is the final tune up ahead of World Cup qualifying. We need to bounce back from the Brazil game, although we didn't play as badly as the 4-1 score indicated.

And Mexico beats Brazil 2-0. IMO Mexico is a real threat for the 2014 World Cup. Chicharito is a game changer. Right up there with the best in the world.
