My greatest wish is that Steve is allowed back to Manhattan and: 1. Gets the necessary credits, this summer, for his degree. 2. Wins 25 games, next year, losing in the MAAC finals to Iona. 3. Takes the Jaspers to the NIT, which they win. 4. Moves on to the ACC with a big contract.

I'm sure when Manhattan took him back that the Jasper fans assured themselves that he would stay for life out of graditude(sp?). I might have to wait a year, but I'd end up with a lifetime of laughs. Guess you have to have a sick mind to appreciate it.

If he does end up back at Manhattan every coach recruiting against him wil point to this fiasco of his running out the door as soon as he could after promising his kids and school the world.

What a shame and circus. Manhattan had requirement of degree for position. Manhattan unfortunately has to make decision quickly to insure recruits do not bolt. How can this situation occur? Did not Manhattan do their due diligence. After he Eddie Jordan fiasco last year I would have thought anyone in coaching would review their resume and get certified copies of college transcript to confirm their degrees. I hope this humbles Masiello a little to take off appearance of arrogance. Not sure if I feel he should be allowed to keep his position due to honesty issue and not for USF job.

Goodman (CBS Sports) is reporting that the Quinnipiac coach, Tom Moore, is being considered for the BC job. If he gets it then JG would have a great shot at his alma mater. Hate to lose him, but happy to see him get a hc job.
