]Does anybody know if there is any other free site that will be broadcasting the game just in case for ESPN 3 were in a blackout zone, which the video will then not work?[/quote]
Sportsman....If all fails try Google in ''Kansas basketball radio broadcast'' That will give you access to several mid-western stations with just a click...Good luck......
To all others...I have insider, but are broadcasts of our games no longer available without it?

I hope that the first thing TC does when stepping on the court at Phog Allen, is to emulate Gene Hackman in Hoosiers, and have the height of the baskets measured. (Smiley Face)

If we lose , National media doesn't notice , if we win......it's the biggest story on every national broadcast in the country....

The Journal News had a pre-game writeup on the game by Brian Heyman. He interviews Tavon Sledge, who is out and didn't make the trip to Kansas. As a freshman at Iowa State he made the trip to play the Jayhawks but didn't get into the game. He pointed out that the Fieldhouse isn't that big but the fans are close to the court and very loud, making for a great atmosphere. Only KU player mentioned, was Andrew Wiggins, a 6'8 guard. Paper had Kansas as a 17 point favorite.

Anyone remember what the point spread was in 1980 when we knocked off Louisville?

Anyone remember what the point spread was in 1980 when we knocked off Louisville? Don't recall that but I think the spread was 16 for the UNC game @ MSG.

Iona05 mentioned The Wizard of OZ--well, we're playing against The Lion King--- www2.ljworld.com/news/2013/nov/18/no-lyin-lion-killer-embiid-lead-kansas-against-ion/?sportsNice feature on Nyre: www2.ljworld.com/news/2013/nov/19/iona-president-ku-grad/

Anyone remember what the point spread was in 1980 when we knocked off Louisville? I remember it wasn't that high because my uncle bet against Iona (he was at the game that night with me), I recall he couldn't believe how low the spread was. I remember either 5 1/2 or 7 1/2. I remember shaking my Maroon and gold pom pom in his face as we were all standing and cheering the last 2 minutes of the game, knowing the upset was about to happen. I think he wanted to kill me! This would be a much bigger upset and with Wiggins it would get huge media attention. You don't get many chances like this! Toss the ball up and let's see what happens, you never know.

By the way I just ordered the game on ESPN Full court. $17 for the day. Optimum offers it. Channel 449. They don't promote the day rate and you have to get transferred to customer Service to get it (won't work on the remote). Worth it, ESPN3 at least for me gets stuck often, sometimes goes blurry and is on a big delay. Rather watch on the big screen.

We received information from Time Warner Cable mentioning that we can stream ESPN3 telecasts from the XBOX to our big screen. My son is the gadget guy and he will have it set up for tipoff.
