I think it' time to just look forward to conference play because with all of these out of conference losses I don't see us getting an at-large bid. If this was meant to be funny, this was terrific. Sent from my HTC6435LVW using proboards

Chels.......Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, your family and all Gail Fans...
Hard to believe but it has been 70 years since I have been there...Spent about 3 weeks at Pearl, then went to Kauai the western most island in the chain which is about 80 miles away for extensive amphibious training...It took me 8 days to get to Pearl from San Diego in a zig zaging trip...You probably made it in 8 hours...The few letters I sent home, were riddled with censorship cut outs and usually took 1-2 months, now my internet guess is 1-2 minutes....
In your trips to the memorials include me in your prayers for the thousands upon thousands who never made the round trip home, and as the bugle blows taps across the apparition covered harbor give a thoughtful salute.................

A lot of people think that just because you are in zone you don't have to guard people aggressively. Before the three point shot, zones were often used to rest players or protect players in foul trouble. They were much more passive. Today, though, zones need to be extremely aggressive to be effective. You can't just stand there and occupy your zone. But that's what it appears they are doing out there. Cluess seems to be playing much more zone these last two years. If so, he needs to utilize zone drills that improve aggressive slides and guarding techniques. JMO.

I can't watch this anymore. Even though we are still in the game, our defense is so bad. The announcer even said it, "Iona doesn't even contest shots". I hope we focus more on our damn defense one of these days. The Nevada announcer also said that IONA has "no interest" in playing defense. They actually had a pretty good laugh about it on the air. Pretty sad that they can watch our team for less than twenty minutes and be so accurate. They also had a fun time watching DL3 on the foul line. Lots of snarky remarks and with good reason....he is atrocious at the foul line to the point where you wonder how it is even possible. He is such a beast with the rock in his hand anywhere on the floor but the moment he's on the foul line it looks like he found this game just yesterday..

Pretty emotional reading the brave soldiers name on the tour. My dad fought in the Korean War and passed away in 1998. Wish he was here to see Pearl Harbor. If you have a few days in Oahu: 1). Have a Mai tai at Duke's Outrigger in Waikikki and pick up a cool tee shirt. 2). Take a drive to the North Shore and enjoy Giovanni's shrimp truck for a garlic shrimp and white rice treat.
