You can go to the members section of this site and block him. That's what I just did. I come to these boards to read about Iona basketball and it's a shame that jerks like him don't know when to stop. It's fun to talk a little trash but at some point it becomes bullying. I'm guilty of taking the bait every now and then but I'm also capable of taking the higher road and ignore him. Clicking the block button does that. I'm not sure whether or not he can read this as a result of my blocking him but if he can just know I feel bad for you. Be a fan and that's it. I don't care what he has to say about this and I'm no longer interested in reading anything else he has to say on these boards ever again. Have a good life. Would you guys laugh, if I disabled or coded that feature out of the board? Not even a chuckle? C'mon, you know you would. Don't worry, I won't... but the thought is extremely provoking. He needs to take it easy with this internet stuff.

ESP, you should change your user name to extraspecialperson. As you have clearly forced us to get a grip. Initially concerned about your presence, but now realize you are harmless. Unfortunately we take ourselves too seriously at time including this basketball program. Defense mechanisms kicked in. Hope you had fun. Now I know better.
My cousins with opportunities in other regions and countries have returned to the Bay Area. They found that they can not have the recreation opportunities they have there anywhere else. Same day they can ski at Tahoe in morning and play golf in Marin late day. Enjoy.
Next Siena game mix in some hoops discussion not just stirring the masses.

if Siena gets to .500 I'd be happy. They basically suck otherwise. Maybe next year with more talent. I will say this: no one will want to draw that team in the MAAC Tourney. They are going to be the scariest shit team we've seen in a while.

I'm a teacher, educating you on the priorities in your life and why it's important to not take this stuff so seriously. This, of course, was my intent all along. Husker gets an A+!!!!!!

Not sure who is an easy out in MAAC tourney this year. Sad that Niagara lost the talent they had last year. Everyone (fans) focuses on OOC games, but IMO the conference games are the most fun as everyone is motivated. Securing a top seed will be key this year. Manhattan games will tell a lot about this team and Manhattan. Quinnipiac still a mystery, Jekyll and Hyde team. If they play like they did against us and Manhattan they could surprise everyone. Should be great theater and drama. Bring it!

husker, honestly... if you want to talk about the conference you might enjoy the MAAC Hoops board. It's a whole lot of BS, but you will get surprisingly good insight about all the teams. It's not terrible to put yourself in a position where you don't always hear what you want to hear. Guy generally rules the roost over there, so he'll make sure you don't get into any trouble maachoops.proboards.com (www.maachoops.com will also redirect normally - I have it turned off for the moment as I work on some maintenance). Here's the easy outs in my opinion: Fairfield, Niagara, Monmouth, SPC. After that, I wouldn't want to draw Siena or Marist. Obviously, QPac, Manhattan, and Canisius are the class of the league... with *I GUESS!* Iona.

WSP, will take your invite once we hit the home stretch. Too early in my opinion. Thanks though.

Husker, reference "Q", remember that their two wins against Iona and Manhattan were home games. Also, easy to get up for what are considered the top two MAAC teams, and not so easy playing in front of 400 fans in Jersey City. It's happened to us a LOT. Because they are such a good rebounding team, I hope we're in different brackets in Springfield. JMO.

As a freshman A.J. showed promise...This past summer at a practice session, I had a chance to talk to him. I found him to be a mild mannered soft spoken young man...I knew he was a good player but had some concern that type attitude might hinder his basketball progress.....Was I ever so wrong....At about the 10 minute mark of the first half he had yet to score, and team appeared to need a pick up even if he had to do it himself...Did he ever!.......His father also known as A.J. was a outstanding college and pro player...That adage ''The apples don't fall from the tree'' came to mind as A.J. Jr. showed ''Basketball fire in his belly'' and inspired the team to a winning effort... We have a star who has yet to turn the wattage up to its brightest light........ Good post, OT!

Interesting weekend. I noticed that Walter Mitty, the west coast Sienna fan, spent the weekend on our site. The guy is supposedly young (late20’s, early 30’s), well educated (Cal and now GT), beautiful wife for whom Guy will vouch (Guy never met a beautiful woman, and not post her picture on Twitter), two kids etc. “I go skiing in morning, golfing in afternoon, swimming at noon, drinking wine at night.” Life is great, right?
All night Saturday night and all day Sunday on the Iona Board, pimping the Sienna Saints and his equally decrepit MAAC Board.
Get a grip Walter! And speaking of blowing leads – go back to spending your Saturday nights on Haight-Ashbury.
Oh, and I see we whipped Sienna again. The ships have passed!

NorCal Has miserable weather... don't let him fool you. Taking your boat out 365 is unlikely as July on SF Bay is colder than you can imagine. A few sunny afternoons per year at Tiburon can be quite pleasant but hardly compares to the lifestyle of Manhattan Beach, Malibu or San Diego in SoCal. I do travel to SF on occasion as Lucas Films is a client of mine but anything more than a few days is down right depressing.
I'd much rather surf in the morning (in 80 degree weather) have lunch on the sand, make a short drive to SoCal mountains for afternoon ski session and end up by the pool in Palm Springs or Rancho Mirage for dinner.
NorCal folks always seem angry and feel a need to tell you why it is so great to live in 47 degree fog year round.

gtm72, San Fran weather is much different than the climate in most of Marin County once you get away from the Bay. Agree about San Fran.

More about me: Grew up in Brooklyn. Went to Siena. Graduated with a Comp Sci Degree & a Marketing Degree (minor: philosophy). Ran the dog pound for 2 years. Moved to SF. Went to Cal for Grad School. Graduated with MBA in 07, and IT Masters in 09. Married since '08. Two kids: 1 daughter (3), 1 son (10 months). Bi curious with a heavy pain killer problem. Guy's also sort of in my will. I'm getting my doctorate at Georgia Tech through a company program and I REALLY wanted Siena to win, so I could rile you all up more... But that didn't happen , and I'm really feeling sad inside about it. So, when you attempt your high level IT doctoral dissertation at that infamous center of intellectualism--GT-- , I propose you spell it "Suggestion Board" not "Suggestion Goard" as in your locked thread!
