I'm sure the Jaspers will come out Friday full of piss and vinegar after losing to us in Hynes and losing to Siena last time out. I'm sure Massiello has been riding them pretty hard. We need to withstand the early onslaught and put them under pressure. Make them respond to us. It would be nice to wrap this thing up Friday at Draddy. Let's get after it.

Forgot to mention...Rider and Siena are in a battle for 5th place, both at 9-9 and trying to avoid the play-in six...If Siena can ''Hold Service'' they will be the winner by virtue of their 2 wins over Rider...Might make a difference in how hard Rider plays final game against us, and who we might meet in MAAC tourney opener on Saturday......
I'm done...Time to watch Xavier beat St. John's and see if tomorrow's NY POST will still find a way to get them into the NCAA's........

A win at Draddy on Friday would be a huge statement. Also would rather see manhattan finish third instead of second so they get stuck in the late game and are more likely to fall victim to fatigue if they meet us in the finals.

I'm sure Massiello will be wrapped tightly around his own axle Friday night, ready to explode. Expect to see some fireworks, and Tech fouls, from the wonder boy.

From one ship to the other......bandwagon!!!! He was all Manhattan a few months ago.
Jon Rothstein ✔ @jonrothstein Think Isaiah Williams is the X-Factor for Iona? Gaels are 18-4 when the 6-7 F is in the lineup + 1-4 when he's not. BCS caliber player.
We don't need your kudo's now. We have straight ballers, point blank.
Gaels running the table.

Latex, or oil base?

Oil; latex dries too quickly. Neither team is NCAA worthy.

Oil; latex dries too quickly. Neither team is NCAA worthy. Now, now. No need to insult paint!

Watching SJU-Xavier is like watching paint dry. Try watching SHU-DePaul Must be under 1000 at the game. Horrible. Where's SHU's defense?

Watching SJU-Xavier is like watching paint dry. Try watching SHU-DePaul Must be under 1000 at the game. That brings up an excellent thought. I'd like us to outscore the attendance at a St. Peters game some day.

It is almost here. The GAME. Just what we wanted. An opportunity to clinch regular season MAAC Title and test our mettle in a difficult road game. Both teams will be laser focused. Hopefully the refs call a consistent game and everyone gets to stay on the floor. One possession at a time, minimize turnovers and continue to move the ball. Make Manhattan defend away from the basket to spread floor. Good things happen with Laury or Poole in high post. Expecting Williams to really shine. His hustle and energy will be key to help us through the rough patches when we need a stop. Our guys will be ready and willing to face this challenge with the season long preparation by Coach Cluess and staff. Really really looking forward to this game. Very excited with the way the TEAM has gelled. Most telling are our assists and assist/turnover ratio. We are already proud of the Gaels, now make us jubilant. BEAT MANHATTAN! GO GAELS!
