Lack of depth caught up with us tonight due to foul trouble and fatigue. I think manhattan wanted it a tiny bit more as well. We didnt get any breaks from refs and they hit big 3's. Armand holding his wrist all night, definitely was bothering him. This is why it sucks to be a mid major fan, no room for error, IW leaving the team cost us a chance at an at large. Can't think about nit yet, tough tough loss.

WSP who knew? You? Did you put your money on Manhattan? Congrats on your prognostication! Better get your Quicken Loans bracket ready to win the billion for perfect bracket. Where do we finish next year? Where does Siena finish? Will I ever dunk a basketball? I have so many questions that I need answers to. Who didn't know? Even Guy and IONA86 admitted Manhattan was the better team. Iona may have had the most talent, but they definitely have the least heart. As expected, Iona got hot during the regular season, but no one truly believed they were capable of pulling it off. Everyone knows they shit the bed when the big lights turn on. Cluess is always out coached, and this loss is no different. That's why he's 1 for 3 in the Tournament finals despite having the most talent. The only win he could manage was against a 6 seed. Iona's best accomplishment (the at large) was immediately disgraced by the biggest choke in basketball history. You have to be worried that the gravy train is coming to an end. Iona has very little to show up to this point and they are one departure of Grasso or Cluess away from being on the down cycle of College Basketball. Then, you won't even have regular season success to enjoy. It's all coming to an end soon.

Like I said... Douche. He speaks from a place of envy and he relies on "what ifs" to give him some fleeting hope of what "could be" for a team that he knows over achieved this year ... And he knows it. Quite sad really. This season isn't over for our guys and next year looks even more promising..... It eats at him. I will root for Manhattan as I did for Siena 5 yrs ago. It is for the betterment of the league as a whole and that is never a bad thing.

I have only seen a handful of games this year, but the problem we have is the same one that we have had over the past 3 4 years....live or die with the three pointer and not very good defense. Offensively our style of play has proven to be exciting and successful. More focus needs to be placed on defense. I believe if it was we beat Santa Clara, BYU, and win the past three MAAC championships.

Guy, it's really time to ban imbeciles like WSP. Let him make a fool of himself elsewhere. Nothing more classless or desperate than a Siena grad.

We lost that game in the first half last night.
Mike Poole was in foul trouble right out of the gate.
17% treys during a stretch when we had good looks.
50% FT's
In the second half, Masiello made the adjustments - took away the trey, made AJ give up the ball to David. Rhamel Brown never took the bait to come out on David. On the flip side, our D had to collapse on Brown etc.- giving Suga Shane his open looks. Our season long injuries caught up to us last night - David R, Shaq, Ryden and Tavon.
We did a great job reeling them back in in the second half, but Masiello had already locked the door and we did not have the inside muscle to collapse that D. Great season and the future is bright.

Right Now I am not sky high on the NIT either but too many season ending posts. The season is not completly over. The NIT is a much better tournament since we were last in it (now run by NCAA). It basically is a tourney of bubble poppers and best small conference teams. We will likely meet a Big East team that just missed the tourney.
