I give credit to Manhattan game plan and execution including Rhamel Brown defending the rim. It was a shame we did not attempt to attack the rim more often with the 3's not falling. Way too much attention focused on last possession. No blame on AJ or David. The loss falls on the team. If we had executed on at least two earlier possessions we would have prevailed. AJ was able to get to the rim the two times at the end because Masiello told his team to not foul. He wanted the clock running. We unfortunately did not foul soon enough to get to bonus. The clock was our enemy and Manhattan was getting flustered. In hind sight, given the amount of time on the clock, it might have been better to drive hard to the rim and possibly drawing a foul. Isaiah's back court violation was correct as he had not established himself in back court (foot on floor) prior to catching the ball. Bring on the NIT and the opportunity to watch the team at least one more time.
