ctbill, hope I wasn't one of the posters who ridiculed you. I think that during the season when you play Thursday-Saturday or Friday-Sunday then fatigue isn't a factor. But in a tourney and playing on three consecutive days it is a factor. Now if we had played Manhattan in the semi's and Canisius in the finals, then it wouldn't have mattered as much, since Canisius also has a short bench. No you are always gracious 59. I'll be alright. I have my family, my dog, my snow-globe collection . . .

The pain is beginning to wear off a little and I'm now looking forward to finding out our NIT opponent. In looking back at that championship game the most prominent memory I'll have is 4 very good shooters all having a bad night at the same time. For a team that relies so heavily on making perimeter shots it's a killer. Not what I had hoped but March to the Garden I just hope manhattan doesnt get this opportunity, it will kill me.

They can make the sweet sixteen and go somewhere else, not the garden.

Watched replay, how can espn miss a play with 2 minutes to go showing a replay instead and then tell the viewers nothing and not show a replay of it, just awful. This was no call on Armand 3 where he was fouled and Cluess was seen complaining.
Worse call of game was IW being called for a back court violation during manhattans second half run, clearly caught it in back court.

I haven't watched the replay, but have a question and an observation. On the backcourt violation: *Did we catch it in the backcourt, but the Iona player who caught the pass, leave his feet in the front court? *On the Armand missed three, all I saw that it came down way short, and Sean claimed he was hit. And while TC agreed with Sean (shot was right in front of him) he didn't put up much of an argument, if I remember correctly.
And a note to Super. Keep up the enthusiasm, it will keep you young.

I didn't read the entire thread, but was anything posted about Sean's wrist? Throughout the entire game, he was rubbing/massaging his left wrist. It definitely was bothering him.

Reasons why we lost per our Board's Thread in no particular order (Pick top 3):
Using DL3 as point guard 2-12 from 3 pt range in 1st half DL3 Foul Shooting Poole's early foul trouble IW's early foul trouble AJ's Dribbling issues We were too tired (Depth) Richards left open (Defensive Lapses) Last play- Someone else neeeded to take the shot Game Plan by Manhattan The Refs srewed us DL misses around the rim
