Hopefully he can build on yesterday's game and continue to improve. He's going to be an important piece to the puzzle moving forward. We don't need scoring rom him, that will come. We do need his rebounding , hustle and clogging up the paint.

There's something about this kid that I like. I feel he has "heart" and I think as he gets more time he will be of real help to this team.

He provided a gritty presence on the inside . Even on the boards he didn't get he got a hand on bunch, knocked a few out of bounds, tipped a few back outside, dove for balls. He denied a few easy offensive put backs. He was an eager and energetic work horse. Complimented DL. Did exactly what we needed him to do to win the game.

if we make it to the dance he would be a key contributor to a victory

If he keeps playing tough and smart he could be the " straw that stirs the drink" helping to make this team reach its main objective.

Ryden really starting to fit in nicely - looks comfortable and like he belongs.
Bringing what he was recruited to bring - a well-needed dimension this team was lacking.

his size alone helps, it gets us better matchups, smaller guys on IW and AJ

Great game from Ryden. He's a good athlete. Watching him attempt that drop-step, spin move makes me appreciate how great DL's footwork is. With a little more coaching and a little deeper on the blocks, Ryden will get that move down.

He had a couple of good games early last season and then either was a DNP or little contribution. Some was due to injury and rust.

While we're at it Chels, have not seen any recognition of your revised avatar by anyone. Did I miss that?
