You know what, we all should be more upset for IW than for the impact his absence has on the team. IW is a really good young man who represents the school well, and he really cares.
I hope he keeps his head up, does well in class and gets well soon.

Isaiah take time to completely heal. We will miss you, but look forward to your return. I know you will be valuable to this team even though you are not on the court. Your coaches and teammates will need your leadership to keep them on track to reach the team goals. Do not let your teammates dwell on your injury, but instead focus on moving forward. Motivate and encourage your young teammates. Remember you are still a member of this "TEAM" and have a lot to contribute. Best wishes on a speedy recovery. Move forward and beat Canisius. GO GAELS!

Agree that IW is the one to feel bad for. I hope he understands that injuries, even devastating ones are part of the game. Particularly when you play with the kind of heart he plays with. He needs to get past this and hopefully we have him back next year. As for the team, I follow Dayton closely and have watched as they have lost one player after another and yet someone else has stepped up and they have continued to succeed. Through adversity we find out who we are! Go Gaels!

I feel for IW also, guy always plays with his heart. Time for others to learn from his example and step up in his absence.

I prefer to think he was merely expressing his happiness.

Can't say for sure he is out for the year, even a broken foot could just be a 4-6 week injury, even an 8 week injury would give him a shot at playing in the post season.

I injured my ankle on Dec 6th and im still in a boot up to my knee today. But im also not 180lbs and 20 years old. Ice up and stay off it and see you on the court in a few weeks

Gay-er! Grow a pair or Go talk to your wife about your feelings. We want to talk about wins here. Post again when you have an update about IW's return.

Guy was right when recently noted we are devolving into the MAAC Board. Everyone entitled to their viewpoint. I was expressing my sentiments as a former coach. Very hard to watch an athlete suffer the disappointment of an injury. Some respond positively to situation when support is expressed. Ichoops' response reminds me of a player standing over one my athletes taunting him after he suffered a broken nose and teeth from a cheap shot. Pathetic.
