Will take a better effort than last night to win this one, especially since they will want revenge from last weekend. Here's how the Griffs shake out:
Record: 9-7 Conf Record: 4-3 RPI: 188 Quality Wins: Stony Brook

OK, Gaels it's time to honor your teammate, IW, and bring the intensity he would have brought to this game.
Go Gaels!!!

Team facing some adversity here. Confidence a bit shaken by end of game performance @ Niagara; role adjustments due to IW injury; facing a decent team at home that probably believes it should have won in NR last week. Let's stay away from sharp objects tomorrow guys and wait to see how all of this develops. We won't be able to tell much from a one game sample.

Looking up stats from past years at Niagara all but one game in the past 6 years have been decided by double digits just proving how tough it is to play there

As of 3:30 pm all dozen and dozen of college basketball lines have been established except Iona-Canisius and Niagara-Siena...Both have question marks I. Williams and R.Poole.....A little unusual as they are usually up to the minute with that type info....

[/quote] Surprising we have opened a 1 point favorite...Giving Canisius about 3 1/2 point for home court...I thought they might be 2-3 point favorite...

As many have pointed out already, we just need our role players to step up slightly more than they normally would and we will be fine. We can take this tomorrow.

I'm expecting a big scoring game out of CC, with 15+ FG attempts. And based on our home game against Canisius, Jim Baron will be all over the refs, to watch for AJ's off hand when he's driving to the basket, calling for a foul. It would be nice if we had a 'strong' crew working the game. My keys (Iona) to the game: 1. DL playing down low, as they can't guard him. I know he's capable of hitting threes, but I'm hoping he doesn't attempt any. 2. On defense we limit the number of open look threes by the Griffs. 3. Our Big Two stay out of foul trouble.
My question for the game, which ONE of the following will step up? Hines, Muhammed, Amayo, Dublin or Bebis.

Let's get it done against CC today. Also, until seeing the "Game Center" today on ICGaels.com, I wasn't expecting to see a video of today's game. There is now a "watch live" option. I am sure that SID took care of this. He's the greatest!
Go Gaels!!!

We need KA to play more under control. He is a great asset and I would not want to be in the lane when he is driving to the hoop, but he needs to throttle down a bit and stay more in control. He has said he wants to be one of the best defensive players in the country. We need you now, KA, to step it up with the loss of IW. Get it done, Gaels.
Go Gaels!!!

If I had to pick who might step up to make a difference it would be the two that have done it on occasion in the past. That would be Amayo and Hines. They have to step up for us to win this game. Asking too much for 2-6 minute guys to all of a sudden make an impact.
