Just read a tweet saying Maac will meet with iona and spu at 6 and its up to schools to determine if penalties. Cluess may want to make AJ do something unpleasant as a penalty, such as having to play every minute of the upcoming Siena game. Nothing like forced boredom to make a point.

Despite getting caught up in a slow down poor shooting game with a key injury and another one in deep foul trouble Cluess still manage to overcome a double digit deficit and late game difficulty to manage his way to a 7 point victory...Despite winning 110 games in 4 1/2 years and being recognized as one of the Nations best new coaches, one of our posters had the audacity to state he was outcoached by a mid MAAC pack coach that lost the game he should have won and that at best knows only one way to play...
The more dominant we become, the more demanding some of our fans become and look for and find fault even in victory...A accepted fact in todays world of ''Spoiling'' They should be banished to Marist for a lesson in appreciation....

OT we were very lucky to escape with a win in this game, let's not put lipstick on a pig. And we are talking about 1 game, not Cluess' entire body of work here at Iona.

Yet another example of AJ at his worst and at his best - all in a matter of less than a minute. The last one being the upstate Niagara game. I saw this a year ago against KU, and I saw it in Arkansas. At his best, AJ plays this game with an edge - in Wiggins' face dunk at KU and the chest slap of Portis in Arkansas. AJ did not find the edge until the final minute last night - then stuff started to happen. Like the Niagara game, this game was lost with less than 15 seconds to go. We are down 5 and ST. Peters has the ball, and I am not even talking about the TO that gave SPU the ball. Game is over - thumb is on the off button. A steal, a trey, an unbelievable drop off pass and the game goes to OT - not our OT This is at least three games in the last two seasons that AJ has pulled our asses out of the fire. That is Reggie Jackson like with all of the swagger. That is Mariano like stuff. 83 says we were lucky to in the game; I say, we are lucky to have AJ. AJ: I can't wait for the next "Take that!" moment.

Penalties are up to the schools? If so I can see TC assigning some of his guys community service. Of course I guess the AD could dish out the penalties, but if it's up to TC, he might want the refs to also do CS. Along with Sherman and Kennedy.

Bebis and Casimir fouled out and Laury had 4 fouls. 1970 Does that answer your question?

Bebis and Casimir fouled out and Laury had 4 fouls. 1970 Does that answer your question? they didn't get into foul trouble until casmir committed a foul until the end of regulation, didn't laury get his 4th in the ot, thats not playing the game with foul trouble. if you count that then look at the st peters fouls as well

1970, DL was in foul trouble BECAUSE he picked up a 'T', and was removed from the game. So if we had lost in regulation, DL would have been unable to play because he had FOUR (or was it three?) fouls, while Weldon was able to play, even though he had FIVE fouls.:-)

He also stated 4 or 3 fouls. All OT was adding was that there were Gaels with foul trouble. And yes St Peters had guys with foul trouble too.

1970, why do you think he was benched? I'm pretty sure that it was because of the 'T'.

1970, why do you think he was benched? I'm pretty sure that it was because of the 'T'. but we weren't in foul trouble, st peters was the team in foul trouble at the end of regulation, these are facts not opinions
