If Mo is eligible this year, I like to see the staff go after a SF type graduate transfer. There are some very good ones out there. That would give us great versatility in how we play Crawford. Tyler Scanlon is transferring from Boston University. He's a 6'7" SF that would be a great pickup, but it's very possible HM programs will get involved.

IMO, he could easily rotate three positions and give us some extra rebounding power and get plenty of minutes.

What’s Thiam’s story? That seems much more uncertain. Good question. What are his mitigating circumstances? Was he run off?

Might as well throw this out there, since things are so quiet while we wait on some recruiting news. Went this past weekend to Orchard beach for the opening of the Hoops In The Sun summer league. To steal a line from Rothstein, there is Palpable Buzz around the city, and summer leagues about Isaiah Washington "coming home" and playing at Iona. Really hope he gets his waiver approved. I knew he had a tremendous following, but didn't expect so many hoops fans telling me how they plan to attend Iona games because of IW. He will have a huge year if eligible right away.

We should schedule an ooc high mid game at County Center in White Plains. What would have been the point of renovating Hynes? Not getting your reasoning.

We should schedule an ooc high mid game at County Center in White Plains. Holds less people doesn't it?

That 5000 number is not even close to reality for basketball.

sigael, not that I’m in favor of games at WCC, but there is good service on Metro-North, Harlem Line right into White Plains. Maybe 3 blocks from the WCC...

Understood. Had no car this winter and took public transportation to/from New Ro and Staten Island. So there are options.
A thought is will decent/high ooc mids come the renovated HAC now. I would love for it to happen. Will the HAC be enough to get them here? If not then the County Center might be a possibility given Jelly’s following and a more locally accessible venue.
Sellouts? Waiting to see what our home schedule looks like this year. Hopefully we get some mids with a buzz in.
