Sorry Cjb...just kidding...but I don't understand why the Garden doesn't do a few good/high mid-major doubleheaders with the Johnnies involving the better local mid-majors like I fantasized above.

Maybe its time for Tubby, or Jamie, or Jimmy C. to call MSG and tell them how much they'd like to play the Gaels there?

I'm hoping Lavin returns SJU back to major relevancy and all the locals benefit riding their wake... MSG returns to "The Mecca" with solid double-headers showcasing the local mid-majors (Iona, Manhattan, Fordham, Hofstra) playing BCS opponents instead of each other.

Sorry, St. John's did nothing for us when it was riding high. I'd say let's start preparing the local MAAC teams for the new Brooklyn arena.

Be prepared to take mass transit , I wouldn't go to that location in a chauffeur driven limo that's how bad the traffic will be there.

Guy, can you make this thread a sticky?
How many OOC games are allowed? Which of the matchups listed below are certain for next year? Do we know the matchup yet for the Puerto Rico Tourney?
3 in Puerto Rico Tourney Home Bracket Buster @richmond @ William & Mary @ Hofstra @ Vermont H Norfolk St H LIU @ FDU H St. Joe's @ New Mexico

I'm under the impression that we are limited by NCAA rules to 27 regular season games because we are in the Puerto Rico tournament. Those not in an in-season tournamnet can play 29, I believe.
I would guess we have to eliminate one of the games in the above post to comply.

Stickied.
The Richmond game isn't happening next year. They want to play us the year after. Can't imagine why.

New Mexico appears to be a border-line top 25 team. They play at "The Pit" where they average about 14,000. Looks like a tough place to play. This road game will be a real challenge. If MoMo gets his waiver, we'll have another guy who will not be intimated by teams or arenas. www.golobos.com/facilities/nm-the-pit.html

The Pit. It's where Jimmy V won the national title!
