I believe Isaiah Williams is a non-qualifier.

Marshall buys us. Too bad no home and home. Gotta give them a lot of credit for not hosting a much lesser opponent. This has all the ingredients for being a great mid-major matchup.

Lame guarantee game.

Disappointed we didn't get a home and home, but a solid mid-major match-up nonetheless. There may not be a host of guarantee offers coming our way from BCS schools as many are likely to be too fraidy scared.

Aaaand New Mexico isn't happening now, per a source. Scheduling difficulties. hmmm, this has a "Ooops, we thought you were a cupcake" ring to it.

Guess we're looking like this now, w/o New Mex. Too bad, NM would have been a real nice RPI win if we got it. Again assuming 1-2 in PR.
Major #1 (Alabama? Maryland?) Major #2 (Purdue(poss. Temple whose not a "major")?) West. Mich. / Wichita St. @ Marshall $$$ (CUSA) St. Joe's (A-10) @ William & Mary (CAA) @ Hofstra (CAA)

We might see each other in Puerto Rico, I always try and register on all of our opponents boards to chat up about the game. I'm preemptively posting and registering over here in case we do. You guys as stoked as we are for taking the trip down to PR? Its a nice field of teams this year.

Welcome, ShockerHoops! We are definitely looking forward to PR and the upcoming season. If things go as we hope, the Gaels may be looking at one of our best seasons in a very long time. Hope to see you in November.

You guys as stoked as we are for taking the trip down to PR? Its a nice field of teams this year. Hard to speak for the rest of the guys, but I think most are pretty excited. We've got a lot of experience and talent coming back from a 25 win team last year. We also added Momo Jones as a transfer from Arizona who is trying to get a waiver from the transfer rule to play immediately in the fall. Saw you guys play UConn in the early tourney last year, I think Hawai'i. You guys should've won that game. Who knew UConn would have the year they did. I think we played eachother once in the 80's if I'm not mistaken. All the best.

What are the chances Isaiah Williams will be suited up for Marshall? Marshall Fan here and Im glad to see a quality school on our schedule. Even if Williams makes it, I don't see him suiting up for the Herd this season. He will most likely RS or sit the year out. I can't give you a starting line up yet. But 3 of the starters should be SG DeAndre Kane, C Nigel Spikes and PG Damier Pitts. Our biggest losses were Tirell Baines and Johnny Thomas. They both played key roles last year in our 22-12 season. Other losses were Orlando Allen who grad., Aundra Williams who transfered to Valdosta State. What we have coming in: C Yours Mlbo- Transfer from Marquette, ready to play. PF Dennis Tinnon- JC, leader in blocks in the nation, 2nd in scoring in Juco in the nation. SG Justin Coleman- Sat out last year and is ready to play. He was an ESPN 100 player. SG Devince Boynkins- Freshman out of NC, 2nd in asst. in the state of NC. F Jamir Hanner- Freshman out of NIA Prep in Philadelphia, 2nd in scoring and asst at NIA. C JP Kambola- Freshman out of Ont. Canada. PG Chris Martian- Freshman out of NJ. One of the better passers Ive ever seen. PF Robert Goff- JC out of Kansas City, played at Oaklahoma in 08. I think the match up with the Gaels should be entertaining to say the least and neither team should be hurt by an RPI hit.

Should be a match up of two real quality mid-majors. Best of luck.

Guess I should have given you our Bench players returning also.
Coming off the bench and possible starters:
G/F Dago Pena- 2010 CUSA 6th man of the year. Deadeye 3 point shooter. SG Shaquille "Shaq" Johnson- Was a starter up until last year. Came off the bench last season and played better ball. F Eladio Espinosa- Transfer from USF. Will sit the season out as a medical RS, Sprained and seperated shoulder last Dec in practice. G Justin Howe- Only walk on left from last year, will only play in mop up duty.
I don't usually follow anyone but Marshall and CUSA schools but I seen an Iona game early last year, your 81-77 win against Richmond and was impressed. I couldn't watch you play most of last year but when checking scores I usually looked for Iona's score.
