If that's true, then Armand's defense must be drastically improved. What do you mean "If thats true..."?

Cluess sounds pretty negative in that story. Hopefully this teams heads haven't gotten too big already. He's the coach. It's his job to be negative. Agree with you, but some think otherwise. Two words for ya: Rex Ryan. Lesson: Safer to have a negative outlook and have a positive result ;D

Haven't seen the word "defense" used much in any of the blurbs about the Gaels so far! Nice to have Kyle, JJ, Ra'Shad, Trinity & co. coming in after 6-8 minutes.

Hearing that Armand starting over Smyth. Leads me to think that coming off the surgery, the coaches feel he needs a little more time to get back into the flow.

Big Ten Teams are off to a 23 - 2 start in the first week. Let's Go Gaels. From Coach Painter: “We expressed to our guys just how good of a team Iona is this year,” Painter said. “They have a lot of talent.”

So I guess we play Maryland on Sunday. They beat Colorado today. W. Mich plays Colorado then.
Purdue v. Ala/Wichita St. final Temple v. Ala/Wichita St. Consolation

I honestly felt if we lost to Purdue, and the rest of Quarterfinal games broke as it would 'on paper', we would be the strongest team in the consolation bracket. That said, Maryland is probably pretty confident after that nice 2nd half comeback yesterday. Gaels need to shore up the D and put the hammer down - there was no reason to let West Mich get that close yesterday.
Maybe this isn't a typical Maryland team but a W here would still look impressive on the resume.
