Interesting to note the bigger conferences showing interest in him. Also interesting that the story itself didn't bother to LIST the schools.

The Post story didn't mention the CAA. :-)
Story does say news should break today. It had better. I get the feeling this kid's telling EVERYONE he's going here, there, everywhere.

Hofstra fans are in the same boat we are. Looks like both teams' fan bases have heard more than just rumors that Glover's coming to their school, to the point where fans are starting to depict lineups with Glover among the players. Time will tell, but certainly I hope we can close this deal. We have more to offer than Hofstra right now, in terms of available frontcourt minutes and legit NCAA chances.

Guy, you started the thread but newionafan and Tau were also able to confirm that Mike Glover was coming to Iona. Could all of you go back to your source/sources to see if there has been any change?

Working on it. Also, if you look at my original post, it did say "may be" coming, though I admit I was cautious with the wording based on what I'd heard--meaning it sounded pretty darn good that he was coming. I have also contacted the writer of that Glover piece in the Post yesterday for follow-up. |
