Another incredible record-breaking evening with many high points:
-Total of $24.8 million raised including an unexpected match of $12 million by a corporate leader. (Now $93.1 million since its imception 19 years ago.)
-Incredibly, Dick was able to speak, albeit softly,  throughout the evening. (When we were with him last Sunday, I would not have believed that was possible.)
-Jim Kelly story is rematkable. *
-Weston Hermann, 17 year old hockey player, survived 5 brain surgeries and brought the house down with his story.

Awful news.
Just got his list of celebrities for his 2025 gala including Hurley, Michael Strahan & Grant Hill.
Also Hannah Storm & Nancy Lieberman.

Tough journey ahead for Dickie V. He recently underwent surgery to remove a cancerous lymph node from his neck. Doctors also removed 26 surrounding lymph nodes. Once he recovers from the surgery, he will undergo six weeks of radiation daily.

Dick finished his latest series of radiation treatments which began in July this week. He won't be able to have a scan done to determine whether he is cancer free for another two months as the inflammation from the radiation will need to reduce.
