05, Super & Crow? Anyone else? Sounds like more than the open practice!

Of interest......Valpo went 1-2 against just better then average Canadian opposition....Last night they beat a Div.2 team who outscored them in the second half...I wonder if their fans are as despondent as some of ours...

Worst case scenario. We go into our opener with the following players: Starters PG-CC OG-AJ C--TB or JW SF-IW PF-AR
Bench 6. JW or TB 7. Ibn 8. Ricky
Mid-December we'll have a Much improved bench, with Kelvin a question mark. All things considered not too bad.

Does anyone know when the Fall semester (exams) ends? Much should be available for URI.

Super, thanks. Good timing for us, as URI might be our toughest game.

What's Amayo's injury? Knee again?

Cjb, last Thursday, when leaving the HAC, Kelvin had bags of ice, taped to each knee, so I would think that answered your question.

I don't expect us to beat Valpo at Valpo first game of the season. This is a very good, veteran team that knows how to play together from day one. No real adjustment period needed for them. If we win that's great. A loss to them on the road, won't hurt us much. They should win their conference and be a tournament team with a good chance to upset a high major pretender.

I expect to win every game. 1 game at a time. Let's take Valpo and move on to the next one! (OK, if it was North Carolina or Kentucky, I might not expect a win).

I'll say that I do expect to win every game, as does the team. The point being made is that a loss, particularly without Amayo and Much, cannot be considered devastating.
We can easily start the season 0-2 and STILL have one of the greatest seasons in program history.

I expect us to win some games. This isn't one of them. I think we CAN WIN every game on our schedule. There are no games where we simply don't stand a chance.
I'm gonna guess right now Valpo is a 6 pt favorite.
