November is here, so figured time was right to start this thread.
Great test to start off the season. #35 in KenPom and listed as one of the top mids in the country by everyone.

Horizon website should have it, if not on regular TV.

ESPN3 - free for those of you who get it. Same thing for Tulsa.

These first two games on the road are going to be very tough I think. I'm not expecting wins, so a win in either and I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Valpo board seems to think they did not play well.
Also as some have mentioned Oregon state is really banged up.
We need to steal one of these 2.

Valpo will be really tough in my opinion. Strong, veteran team that hasn't lost any starters to graduation. By contrast we'll be working in like five new guys. They will have the advantage this early in the season. Reminds me of the Wofford road game, last season I think?

Getting some early respect on Valpo board: I think URI is the best team we will play. I think they will finish with the highest seed, highest RPI, most wins, etc. Oregon is only returning 54.88% of their minutes, the lowest among teams we play. I am think they're a bit overrated at this point, but also a big unknown. Iona will be very good, and will make the tournament and probably win a game. Oregon State had a bunch of turnover as well, but has a great recruiting class. It may take them awhile to get going.
4-2 with losses @uri and @oregon. 3 games in 5 days with the 5th across the country in the morning vs URI on the road. That's going to be a hard game. This is the best team Valpo will play all year (well excluding their opening round tournament opponent if we get there). I can see us overlooking Iona and dropping that game to a good team as well. Probably the 2nd best team on Valpo's schedule.

Little blurb on Oregon St. Didn't want to start a whole thread for this.
Jon Rothstein @jonrothstein 6h6 hours ago Oregon State's Daniel Gomis (hand) and Jarmal Reid (stress fracture) are out approximately 4-6 weeks, Wayne Tinkle told @cbssports.
