Willard is looking like a genius right about now. He looked like a genius the past three years and he had class!

Thursday will be interesting. I may need to do that Beechmont pregame thing and have a few shots to dull the pain.

I'm a little surprised by the lack of post game coaches comments in any of the game write-ups. Willard always gave post game interview win or lose.

In my desperate attempt to find some optimism I found this. CW Post first 8 games last year 4-4. Final 21 games 19-2. Maybe we need to be patient. I can't explain yesterday, but I have to say despite the two losses I liked what I saw the first two games. Basketball is a funny game, sometimes it takes a while for all the parts to fit together. Just look at the Miami Heat. Talent isn't everything, sometimes it takes time to jell. They are running probably 4 out of 5 plays for a guy that wasn't here last year. He is the real deal and will be a force, but the communication sometimes isn't there - That and the fact (As you guys have pointed out) that they have 3 coaches yelling at them makes if hard to maintain a fluid offense and to jell on defense. Personally, I like that we are running plays for Glover. Last year, as good as we were I felt like we never ran plays for anyone. There was not any focus on offense and I feel that contributed to the long scoring droughts. If this makes anyone happier (I think someone noted that CW Post could have beaten Bryant) - Cluess didn't have any better luck against Bryant at Post - 0-2 record including a loss in the NCAA northeast regional!

Hey....We agree ICHoops.........The utter lack of respect for suffering loyal fans is appalling...
Sid.....Please....Some how a indepth interview.....Is this program being run in a vacuum?....Or by Homeland Security....It has to begin giving those that support it a break and at least acknowledge we are out here..If there was RPI rating for Public Relations, we would be at the bottom of the pack...
Go Gaels!!!!!!

I should have the first two game press conferences on ICGaels and YouTube tonight... I haven't been able to spare a moment to edit them yet. Crazy weekend / Monday with all fall and winter sports in action during this crossover period.

Just watched the video, your right Dwight didn't do a good job on D on that 3.
We heard over the radio that he hit it with a hand in his face, but really he just took a dribble right and shot the ball open with Dwight coming over a second late with the hand in the face. Far too late to have an impact on the shot.
Can't believe what you hear on the radio, that was bad D on that buzzer beater.

Yes, no hand in the face. Maybe it's pure (mis)perception, but I and others feel like the other team always seems to have a guy who can be counted on to make the winning shot while falling backwards, 35 feet from the basket with a hand in his face. Super human stuff even without a cape, bottom of the net as the buzzer sounds. Woopee. Your basic recurring nightmare. Now back to objectivity, how often does Iona have that super human guy? Who was the last one?
